Description: Joe Pucciarelli will explore the need for new IT strategies aimed at supporting and enabling digital transformation and discusses in detail the elements of effective IT strategy. Joe describes the context and "ecosystem" in which the new strategy is formed and executed and identifies the key attributes and components of a new IT strategy. The IT vision and mission guide IT and LOB organizations and stakeholders, but the IT strategy details "how" to get there. Business strategies are changing significantly in response to new, more disruptive competition, shifting customer dynamics and demands, and turbulent business environments. IT strategies similarly need to undergo significant overhauling or risk becoming detached and irrelevant.
